(T.E.G) Last Annihilator STand (Chapter 1)

What was once the beautiful city square of Vadokan, now torn apart by the Keeper’s last creation as it sent rumbles flying across the battled city.

“Tsk, if it gets any further, the next target will be the town hall!” the rock gnome grunted. He continued hurling bolts of fire at the advancing abomination, “Guys we have to hold this ground!”

A few arrows whiz past, landing on the Annihilator, yet not a scratch was seen on the metallic parts. “It’s no use Bepsi, it’s armor is too thick. There has to be another way.” The high-elf ranger took 3 more arrows from his quiver, firing another round of barrage trying to search for places with thinner armor.

“I will distract him, cover me!” Amon ran into the nearest building, up to the second floor. Bepsi continued raining down multiple bolts, causing smoke to cover the streets. In the midst, 6 scary lights was visible in the cloud. It charged up quickly, releasing multiple purple missiles towards Bepsi and the high elf.

“Get down!” The high elf pulled Bepsi down towards the fountain feature right beside them. A few fly by, barely scalded them with the remaining ones desecrating the area where they used to be, leaving a massive pit in the ground.
“That nearly cost me life Draugluin, thanks!” Bepsi gasped.

The Annihilator readied for round two, targeting the fountain. As the beams charged, a celestial-looking owl flew by pecking on the mechanical head. A loud clank was heard, with the dagger responsible dropping to the ground. The machine turned towards the direction the dagger and let loose it’s barrage, killing the owl in the process. A shadow jumps, revealing a human boy with a beastly right arm. He dodged the first few, however the speed of the missiles was too fast for him, with the last 2 shots sending him 20 feet into the air.

“Kali!” the huge paladin drew forth his long sword, muttering a few incantations. He then raised the sword, which started glowing bright green, and shouted through the window with utmost gusto, “The Great Amon challenges you to come, fight me!”

The Annihilator focused onto Amon, enchanted and compelled by the challenge. Loud whirring could be heard, with the ground shaking as the Annihilator braced it’s four legs, with it’s boosters emitting a bright white glow.

“I have an idea, buy me some time. Jergal, don’t just stand there, help us too!”

The figure stepped out from the rubble, combing back his magnificent golden hair to reveal his handsome face. He began muttering a few quick sentences before releasing what looked like murky liquid all over ground the path of the Annihilator.

“How is that supposed to help Jergal?!” Bepsi shouted back. Before he could continue however, a loud boom echoed in the city, creating dust clouds. “You got to be kidding me.” A classic slip and fall, the huge machine ended up with all fours in the air in a very odd looking fashion, suffering for it’s gargantuan size. Yet despite the huge fall, the abomination did not seem to be heavily damaged. In fact Draugluin could have sworn he saw the metal repairing itself. The Annihilator remained motionless for a while before being lifted back up by the thrusters on the back. It took only a mere 6 seconds, but that was more than enough.

“That’s as far as you can go!” Bepsi threw 3 transparent glass balls out. Upon contact with each other the balls expanded into a massive sized clear bubble, trapping one of the legs of the machine. “Got him! Shoot him down boys!”

Amon pulled out his crossbow and started firing through the windows, while Draugluin and the mages continued raining hell. Signs of minor damage became visible, but the Annihilator kept trudging on towards the building where Amon was. Not only did it completely ignored the damage it was taking, it was even dragging that bubble along.

“Not good, Amon get out of there!” Draugluin shouted, but it was too late. The Annihilator managed to reach the building, proceeding to raise both arms up and slamming straight into the two story building as if it was made of paper.

“Gah!” Amon dodged the direct impact, but the aftershock sent him backwards. As he got up, he witnessed the machine’s chest open into a shape of a cannon. There, 6 crystal balls similar to the ones the Keeper used earlier hovered within. The balls turned purple, spewing out massive amounts of green vapor.

“What th-” Amon started coughing violently. He could feel the effects of the gas weighing down on him almost immediately. His energy was weakening, his vision blurring, and… the spell broke.

No longer bound, the Annihilator turned towards the trio behind the fountain. It pointed it’s chest towards them. The balls turned bright orange colour, firing a large beam that vaporised the fountain and the area around it.
